My wife and I stayed at the Park Hyatt and booked the “Alexander Hamilton Tour” with Nevis Sun Tours. Greg, the CEO of the company, picked us up at Oualie Pier at 2pm and took us on a 2.5 hour tour of the island, specifically showing us the areas that formed and shaped Alexander Hamilton from a very young age.
I’ve seen the play, read the book, and done my own research on Hamilton yet Greg still wowed me with both the breadth and depth of his knowledge of Hamilton and what he would’ve experienced during his time on Nevis. It was also fascinating to see the house where Hamilton was born and how it has since been converted into a small museum.
Greg was the consummate tour guide with an inimitably warm demeanor coupled with a great sense of humor. If you do any tours on Nevis, the is the one to take!
Margot and I would like to thank you for arranging the Village Food Tour. It was amazing and the information from Lyle was something we couldn’t get elsewhere. We could have sat at the Lil Cherry Tree for hours talking with all of you and really experiencing the sights, sounds and vibe of REAL Nevis. It was so amazing and Margot and I will never forget our experience.

It was great to see the actual sites that shaped Hamilton's life, and I really appreciated a tour that challenged my perceptions and led me to think about the ways that his Hamilton's experiences on Nevis made him who he was, for better or worse. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Nevis and will have fond memories of our “50th Anniversary Vacation”. While the accommodations and service at Montpelier was very good, it was the way you introduced us to Nevis and the experiences you created that enabled us to absorb some of the aspects of the Nevis culture that made our trip special. Numerous times during our trip, we saw a number of tours being conducted in the traditional fashion.
We on the other hand, were blessed to have a guide who was willing to speak from his heart and share personal experiences as we strolled among the goats and friendly villagers. The thought and effort that went into the “Alexander Hamilton Experience” exemplifies the unique approach you have taken in creating Nevis Sun Tours.
