The Alexander Hamilton Island Tour is a historical human-interest story that brings history alive and gives participants a chance to interact with it. Participants learn of the evolution of Hamilton’s journey and how his future dealings were greatly influenced by his early life on Nevis. The tour circumnavigates Nevis and visits historic sites that existed when Hamilton lived on the island in the mid 1700’s.
Cooking with Ras Iroy is an amazing “unforgettable” experience. For this tour, participants visit a Rastafarian farm, harvest ingredients, then cook them in Nevisian clay pots over an open fire. This is Ital or vegan cuisine cooked under the interactive instructions of a true Rasta chef.
The Village Food Tour takes guests off the beaten path as they walk through one of Nevis’ remaining traditional villages. There are two food stops along the quarter mile walk, where guests enjoy authentic local cuisine, drink some delicious local drinks, and learn about local plant uses, and Nevisian culture. The tour is guided by a village resident who is a horticulturalist. Past participants love the village, the food and their view of the local lifestyle.
