The marathon is the most challenging, not just for the distance, but for the fact that it circumnavigates the entire island of Nevis. However, ever so often, there is a soothing sea breeze that reduces the heat, as you contend to get to the finish line. This event finishes one of our lovely beaches. Everyone gets a participation t-shirt in their race package, and a finish medal upon completion.  The top three finishers in each category receive unique Nevis-made stone trophies.  Pre-registration is required.
